We are an award-winning Fine Food Distributor. We deliver ambient and chilled speciality, artisan foods covering the majority of the UK.

The Company started in 2004 with a small lock up and a second-hand van working with only five or six Scottish fine food manufacturers. Fast forward to today, where we work with hundreds of fine food manufacturers and now have 5 depots across the UK.

We have been voted Top Distributor in the UK by Fine Food Digest 7 years in a row and we couldn't have done it without our hard-working team!

You will be joining the business at an exciting time as we have just acquired Adamsons Soft Drinks, a Scottish based soft drink wholesale business, and have opened our fourth depot in England.

There are roles of various levels available throughout all departments with specific jobs advertised on Indeed. As our business expands, we are always looking to recruit the best staff to join our Cress Co team. Experience is not always essential as training and support will be provided so you can hit the ground running in your new role.

Customer Service is at the heart of what we do, we strive to provide the best possible experience for our customers. Our Customer Service Team are responsible for processing orders, answering queries, and taking both inbound and outbound calls.

We are looking for customer service assistants who are highly motivated and work well in a fast paced environment. You will be able to solve queries efficiently and will have an eye for detail. You will not only be working closely with customers, but also working alongside all other departments in the business, meaning strong communication skills are a must.

Full-Time, Part-Time, Mon-Fri.

Office based – Dunfermline.

The Account Manager is responsible for establishing, growing and maintaining solid relationships across a designated customer base. Identifying and developing new business, actively seeking new sales opportunities and connecting with internal teams to support the customer.

Field sales experience is essential, a background in the fine food sector is desirable. Our Account Managers are expected to manage a customer base, identify prospects, increase sales and develop and maintain strong working relationships externally and internally.

You must possess excellent communication skills, strong organisational and time management skills and the ability to work independently.

Field based, across the UK. Full time, Monday – Friday (with some weekend work).

Buying and Procurement are at the centre of our successful supply chain and are responsible for sourcing, building and delivering commercially focused product ranges. Managing and working with an extensive supply base to ensure there is always sufficient stock available for our customers to order.

We have many roles within the team, from Buyers to Administrators to Purchasing Officers. We are looking for those who are ambitious and have strong analytical & numeracy skills. You will be able to work efficiently and to tight deadlines while prioritising your workload.

Full-Time, Part-Time.

Office based – Dunfermline, Fife.

Our Finance Team work with both customers and suppliers on a daily basis. They are responsible for processing payments, raising invoices & credits, payroll, credit control and much more.

The team are looking for those who have strong communication skills with excellent attention to detail. You must be able to work as part of a team and maintain / prioritise your own workload. You also should have the ability to work under pressure & to tight deadlines.

Full Time, Part-Time.

Office based – Dunfermline, Fife.

Our delivery drivers undertake deliveries to our valued customers all over the country.

We are regularly looking to increase our number of drivers at each depot to allow for natural growth across the business. This role entails low volume/ high mileage deliveries so an ideal candidates would be someone who loves to drive and has great attention to detail. You will be the face of Cress so excellent customer service skills are essential to this role. Experience is essential within a similar multi-drop role.

Full time, Tues - Fri.

Jobs available throughout all 5 depots (Dunfermline, Telford, Milton Keynes, Maltby & Bristol).

The Cress Company warehouse team manage our stock of Fine Food and Beverages, servicing our customers through five depots right across the UK. Our teams include Goods Inwards, Goods Outwards and the Yard Team who manage incoming stock, replenishment and pick/pack for dispatch to our five delivery sites.

They also manage our chilled deliveries to ensure integrity of the chilled supply chain.

Staff must be team players, integrating not only with their own shift colleagues but also with colleagues on the other shifts where they overlap. Attention to detail is a must with control of best before dates on our food products being a high priority. There is a degree of time sensitivity during periods of each shift, colleagues must be prepared to work to a pace that meets those targets to maintain the high service levels that The Cress Company offer our customers.

Full Time – Monday to Friday.
